PURCHASE, DEPOSIT & PAYMENT

This agreement is between Team Feem Breeders LLC ("Seller") and the named Buyer. Registration, transportation, and shipping expenses are the responsibility of Buyer unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Deposits are non-refundable.  A deposit may be transferred to a future litter for up to 12 months, provided Buyer makes the request before the reserved puppy reaches three (3) weeks of age.

If Buyer requests that the puppy's tail and/or dewclaws remain intact, an additional $500 non-refundable deposit is required. Once this request is made, Buyer may not cancel, postpone, or transfer the reservation.

Accepted payment methods include cash, Good Dog, Venmo, Apple Pay, Zelle, and PayPal. The buyer is responsible for applicable transaction fees.

When Buyer picks up the puppy, final payment is due at pickup before possession is transferred. If the puppy is transported or shipped, final payment is due before the puppy leaves Team Feem. Buyer and Seller must agree upon all transportation arrangements.

VACCINATIONS & INITIAL HEALTH

Team Feem guarantees that the puppy will receive all age-appropriate vaccinations and deworming before transfer. Unless other arrangements are made, tails and dewclaws will be removed by a licensed veterinarian at approximately 3-5 days of age.

Buyer agrees to have the puppy examined by a licensed veterinarian within 72 hours of taking possession and to have a fecal parasite examination performed. The buyer is responsible for the cost of the examination and any necessary treatment.

3-DAY COMMUNICABLE DISEASE GUARANTEE

Team Feem guarantees the puppy for three (3) days following transfer against Parvovirus, Distemper, Leptospirosis, Hepatitis, Parainfluenza, and Canine Coronavirus (CCoV).

If one of these diseases is diagnosed during this period, Buyer must notify Team Feem within 24 hours of diagnosis and provide veterinary records and laboratory results. Team Feem may request confirmation by a mutually agreed-upon licensed veterinarian. Upon verification that the puppy had a covered disease reasonably present at the time of transfer, Team Feem will accept the immediate return of the puppy and refund the puppy's purchase price. Veterinary, transportation, medication, and testing expenses are not reimbursable unless agreed to in writing.

Buyer agrees to avoid exposing the puppy to high-risk public areas where unknown or unvaccinated dogs may have been present until the puppy's veterinarian determines the puppy is adequately protected.

ONE-YEAR GENETIC HEALTH GUARANTEE

Team Feem guarantees the puppy against serious inherited or congenital genetic defects that materially and adversely affect the dog's health for one (1) year from the puppy's date of birth.

If a covered condition is diagnosed, Buyer must promptly notify Team Feem and provide complete veterinary records and diagnostic results. Team Feem may request confirmation from a mutually agreed-upon veterinarian or veterinary specialist.

Upon confirmation of a covered condition, Team Feem reserves the right to choose one of the following remedies: (1) provide a replacement puppy of equal value when one becomes available; (2) contribute toward reasonable treatment costs up to 75% of the original purchase price; or (3) reimburse up to the original purchase price. If Team Feem requires return of the original dog as a condition of replacement or refund, Buyer agrees to surrender ownership and possession of the dog to Team Feem. Team Feem cannot guarantee the sex, color, litter, or timeframe of a replacement puppy.

Team Feem's financial responsibility under this guarantee will not exceed the puppy's original purchase price unless otherwise agreed in writing.  This Health Guarantee is void if Buyer fails to follow the feeding guidelines provided by Team Feem Breeders LLC or fails to provide the puppy with regular and appropriate veterinary care, including age-appropriate vaccinations, routine wellness examinations, and heartworm prevention as recommended by a licensed veterinarian. 

CONDITIONS NOT COVERED

No guarantee is made regarding adult size or weight, final appearance, ear carriage or whether cropped ears stand, fertility/reproductive ability, show or working ability, or conditions resulting from injury, accident, improper nutrition, environmental exposure, excessive exercise, obesity, neglect, abuse, or inadequate veterinary care. Minor or treatable conditions that do not materially affect the dog's overall health are not considered serious genetic defects under this guarantee.

Any adult-size estimate is based solely on breeder experience, pedigree, parental size, and the puppy's development and is not guaranteed.

BUYER RESPONSIBILITIES

After taking possession, Buyer is responsible for all veterinary expenses except as specifically provided under this guarantee. Buyer agrees to provide appropriate food, fresh water, shelter, exercise, socialization, training, veterinary care, vaccinations, deworming, and heartworm/parasite prevention as recommended by a licensed veterinarian.

Buyer agrees to follow the feeding guidelines provided by Team Feem. Health warranties may be void if Buyer fails to provide appropriate veterinary care, maintain vaccinations, follow feeding requirements, or properly care for the dog.

AKC REGISTRATION & BREEDING RIGHTS

Unless otherwise specified, puppies are sold with AKC Limited Registration and may not be bred without prior written authorization from Team Feem and payment of the Full AKC Registration fee.

If approved for Full Registration, Team Feem will provide the necessary AKC registration information after payment has been received. The buyer understands that purchasing the dog does not automatically include breeding rights.

RETURN & REHOMING

If Buyer is ever unable or unwilling to keep the dog, Team Feem will accept the return of a Team Feem dog at any time.

Returning or surrendering the dog does not entitle Buyer to a refund unless otherwise agreed in writing. The buyer is responsible for transportation and expenses associated with returning the dog. A Team Feem dog may not be surrendered to an animal shelter, rescue organization, pet store, laboratory, research facility, or similar organization without Team Feem's prior written consent.

• Photograph me and/or members of my family during puppy pickup and share those photographs on Team Feem Dobermans' website and social media pages.

• Share photographs or videos of my Team Feem Doberman that I voluntarily provide to Team Feem Dobermans, including photos or videos that may include me or members of my family, on the Team Feem Dobermans website and social media pages.
